Ten/Twenty Kids is a social enterprise that creates sustainable toys that celebrates the creativity of kids and the craftsmanship of Filipinos while providing jobs for stay-at-home moms.

Our story began with piles of textile excess and the realization that without intervention, the cycle of waste will just continue.

On April 2019, Ten/Twenty Kids was born, with the mission to create, educate and advocate.

We live out our purpose by producing quality toys from upcycled materials, educating kids on sustainability through arts, crafts, and fashion design workshops and fostering creativity through play.

Each Ten/Twenty toy adapts elements of the local culture and is handmade ethically with love by our Artisan-Nanays.

With your generous support, we will be able to finance the production of Ten/Twenty’s first toy collection entitled, MERKADO

The funds would be used to cover the operational costs of producing the debut toy line and provide fair-wage jobs to our Artisan-Nanays.

Thus, bringing joy to the kids, the earth and to their (Artisan-Nanay) families as well.

MERKADO, Ten/Twenty’s first toy collection, is a salute to our local farmers and fishermen.

Our toys highlight market goods to promote the mindset of buying local products and supporting our own farmers and fishermen.

MERKADO encourages the childhood "tinda-tindahan” experience to inspire imaginative play.

All MERKADO toys are made from upcycled textile fabrics and stuffed with raw organic kapok.

As an appreciation for your generous support, you will have exclusive access and discounts to our limited-edition first toy collection, MERKADO

Frequently Asked Questions

Our toys are made from upcycled fabric scraps (retaso). These fabric scraps were produced from the cutting floors of factories and destined to go to trash. Together, we are saving these fabrics from going to landfills and adding to plastic pollution. Ten/Twenty Toys are stuffed with organic raw kapok instead of the commonly used polyfiber fillers which is harmful to the earth and to children's health when inhaled. We source our kapok locally.
We collect them from our partner factories, brands, ateliers, designers and even your local neighbourhood seamstress.
We will start shipping in December. We will ship on a first pledge first-ship basis. Pledge now to get your hands first on our toys for a greener earth.
The backer will shoulder the shipping fee. You will receive details regarding shipping once we receive your information.
