Real-Life Fairytales Takes Off to Korea
Ateneo Blue Repertory is competing the Philippines in the Daegu International Musical Festival. Help them bring Philippine theatre to the International Stage!
After a successful run in Manila as the twenty-fifth season premiere of Ateneo Blue Repertory (blueREP), Real-Life Fairytales will be heading to South Korea from July 2-6, 2017, to compete in the final round of the 11th Daegu International Musical Festival. This will also be the first time that blueREP goes international!
Before we take off, blueREP will be staging a local run of Real-Life Fairytales at the Rizal Mini Theater, from June 24-25, 2017, in order to gain support and traction. The Rizal Mini Theater is located at the Ateneo de Manila University, with a total seating capacity of 200.

About the organization:
Founded in February 1991, marked by the opening night of the organization's first production, "Pippin", Ateneo Blue Repertory is the premier musical theatre organization of the Ateneo De Manila University. 25 years ago, it began as nothing more than a humble project among a group of friends. Now it celebrates its 25th year in the sphere of professional musical theatre in the Philippines. For the past twenty-five years, blueREP has selected material that is new, fresh and challenging, and the organization is constantly on a search to innovate and make an impact in theater and in the Ateneo. The organization regularly works with theater veterans from Repertory Philippines, Trumpets, Atlantis Productions and other professional theater companies.
