"Into My Heart" is a collection of 31 poems and it's main theme will be the phases of love that we go through. The poetry book is also a collaboration of artworks and photos from friends who have contributed to give life to the poems that I wrote, based on their own artistic expression.

This artwork is made by one of my good friends who's an architect but also loves to draw and create art. When she heard about my poetry book project, she was very eager to contribute and be part of it. This was inspired by the poem entitled "Sunsets". The collection of artwork and photos in the book will have varying styles and that's what makes it unique and a part of its appeal. It will be like entering an art museum but encapsulated in a book and at the same time there is a story behind every art. 

This project is what you call a "Pandemic Baby", since it culminated last year where I had more time to finish writing the book. 

During the enhanced quarantine period, I would set aside time to write and reflect. That certainly kept me sane during those challenging times. 

I started writing poems back in high school, right after having my heart broken over a puppy love. And then my good friend who also loved writing encouraged me to write again and to start uploading my works online. I took her advice and that was the start of this passion project.
