Through our small business, we’re trying to raise enough funds to send at least one scholar through one school year of their basic education!

Getting quality education is like receiving light that can change the trajectory of your life and one’s family, and in effect one’s community and country. That’s the kind of opportunity and choice we hope every Filipino child would have–but since we can’t help everyone, just helping at least one would already mean the world to us. It takes a village to raise a child and Kakayanin would like to take that extra mile for one kid at a time to help them become our country’s future movers and light source.

A portion of our proceeds is committed to Mano Amiga Philippine's Scholarship Fund. Mano Amiga Philippines is a multi-awarded nonprofit social enterprise focused on creating education opportunities that serve as a catalyst for community transformation and inclusive growth. Sponsoring one scholar for a year comes at Php45,000. This covers per student’s operational expenses of the school, including instructional materials, teachers’ salaries and training sessions, enrichment activities and classroom materials.
