Back in school, did you have a teacher that changed the way you thought? Were there one or a few teachers that you remember with fondness not only because they taught well but also because they believed in you and pushed you to be the best that you could be? Those teachers must have loved what they were doing and inspired despite the difficulties and tiresomeness that came with teaching. But did you also have those teachers that seemed too busy and tired to care for their students? Or those who seemed to have lost their love and passion to teach but still continue to teach?

While the difficulties of teaching and the sad and lacking circumstances especially in the Public School setting make them tired, uninspired and hardened, we believe that now is a good time to change that. As this new school year opens, we have a chance for 30 Public School Teachers to make this year, their best year ever! We can do this by getting them started on the right track. The First Day High Projectdreams of gifting 30 Public School Teachers with 2 things:

1. Super Starter Kit with tools that help cut down on the repetitive and tiresome preparations of visual aids, tools applicable for multi-subject teaching, tools that help them strategize better, and

2. A 1-Day prep session with education experts that will touch their hearts and build their classroom management skills!

Combined, the First Day High Super Starter Kit and Session will help get our teachers ready and pumped up for the coming school year!

We look to you for support. By simply sponsoring 1 Public School Teacher, you can make a difference in the lives of at least 60 children! In return, deserving teachers, given their tools and what they learned from the session, will be asked to share with you 1 thing that they will do differently to make this school year their best ever! As a bonus to a Teacher Sponsor, you can Share your Spark and Make your Mark through the teachers! Think of it as a chance to get your sponsored teacher to pay it forward in a specific and concrete way! Make your mark in the classroom through an activity or message you’d like the teacher to do with or for their students. It can be as simple as giving your students a hug or spending a little more time everyday with 1 or 2 students that are having a harder time learning.
