Frequently Asked Questions

APOH is short for Awakening the Pride of the Olden Hope. We are a team of 34 Benilde interior design students, and together with our two advisers, we embark on this service-learning project with an advocacy to empower elders and uplift their well-being.
No, APOH is a three-month long service-learning project of Benilde Interior Design students. All proceeds gathered from our fundraising events go into creating a Senior Citizen Center for our beneficiary community.
The recipients of our cause are the elders of the Magsilay community, an adopted family of the La Sallian Brothers nestled in the serene mountains of Pasil, Kalinga Province.
APOH’s main goal is to design and construct a Senior Citizen Center for the Magsilay Community in Kalinga. This center will become a sanctuary for their elders to gather, share stories, and continue to be the heart of their vibrant heritage.
You can become a backer of APOH by donating to us. Each amount of donation corresponds to a backer reward title. No matter the amount, your donation is greatly appreciated and will be valuable in turning the dreams of our beneficiary community into reality.
Given the nature of our project, APOH won’t be able to give rewards to our backers. All donations and proceeds will go into constructing the Senior Citizen Center for the Magsilay elders. However, you may join our Grand Raffle to take a chance at winning prizes.
In order to join the grand raffle, you have to access this link - bit.ly/DonateToAPOH - to fill out the donation form. For every Php 50.00 donation, you will receive one (1) raffle ticket. Winners will be randomly chosen at our culminating exhibition event to be announced soon!
You can follow us on Facebook [Apoh 2024], Instagram [@apoh.2024], and/or Tiktok [@apoh.2024] to be updated on our events!
